Kornati 3 Stops Tour
Full-day boat tour · 08:30 – 18:00 · Breakfast & lunch
Explore more. Swim more. Experience more.
Looking for the perfect family day out in Croatia? Our Three Stops Adventure Tour is designed for travellers who want to experience as much as possible in a single day.
Compared to traditional Kornati boat tours, this excursion offers more variety, more sightseeing and more swimming, with three carefully selected stops showcasing the very best of the Kornati Archipelago. Every stop is different, combining spectacular nature, fascinating history and authentic island life, making this the ideal choice for families, couples and anyone looking for an active yet relaxing day at sea.
Depart from either Zadar Old Town Harbour or Borik (Dražanica Port) and begin your adventure through one of Croatia’s most beautiful island regions.
The cruise starts by sailing between the islands of Ugljan and Pašman, passing beneath the Ždrelac Bridge while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding islands. During the morning cruise, breakfast and a welcome drink are served on board as your guide introduces you to the history of the region, local traditions, island life and the unique way people have lived on these islands for centuries.
The scenic cruise towards Kornati National Park lasts approximately 2.5 hours. Along the way, you’ll pass through an area where dolphins are often spotted.
Stop 1 – Levrnaka Island & Lojena Beach
Your first stop takes you to one of the most beautiful islands in Kornati National Park: Levrnaka.
This beautiful bay is accessible only for smaller and medium sized boats, allowing you to visit one of the most special places in the Adriatic.
Here you’ll have time to swim, relax and explore both sides of the island.
One side is home to the famous Lojena Beach, one of the very few natural white sand beaches in Croatia, surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water.
On the opposite side, where the boat anchors, you’ll find excellent snorkeling conditions. The clear water is full of marine life and fish, making it one of the best snorkeling locations in the Kornati park.
Stop 2 – Kornat Island & Tureta Fortress
The second stop reveals a completely different side of Kornati. Whether you want to swim, snorkel or hike to a fortress viewpoint, Kornat offers it all.
Visit the impressive Tureta Fortress, built during the Byzantine Empire in the 6th century as part of an important defensive network protecting Adriatic trade routes.
Just below the fortress stands the historic Church of Our Lady of Tarac, a place that remains an important pilgrimage site to this day.
Behind the church lies a peaceful green valley containing Roman archaeological remains. Here your guide will explain how different civilizations lived on these islands and why the Kornati Archipelago occupied such an important strategic position throughout history.
You’ll also have another opportunity to swim in the beautiful bay before returning to the boat.
After this stop, lunch is served on board during the sail to the third stop.
Choose between:
- Fish/chicken with salad
- Tomato pasta (vegetarian)
Water is available throughout the day, while wine is served during lunch.
Stop 3 – Ugljan Island & Croatian Island Life
The final stop takes you to a traditional village on Ugljan Island.
Unlike the previous stops inside the national park, this visit offers a glimpse into Croatian island life. Wander through the charming village streets, enjoy an ice cream or coffee, relax by the sea or take one last swim before returning to Zadar.
After a full day exploring Kornati, you’ll sail back across the archipelago, arriving in Zadar during the late afternoon.
The stop times are approximately 60-90 minutes, depending on national park timeslots on the given day.
